how do u set up the console to receive the SDMR i know you have to go into for 34 but then what?! it says enter the extention. our console is 500 so i enter 500 and says its not vaild. dont' you have to do something in for 11 or 12 the data circuits or something liek that?

it is identical to setting up a 1103 they mean the extension
that you assigned to that port for smdr!!

please explain i don't understand what you mean! i don't think it displays the circuits for the console in the data assignment form

it is not that to add a printer to the console
hard do you have the edocs for your system becuse it walks you thru it?

you actually give the printer port an ext number
i used something like *992

yea i don't know how to do any of that. i have the e-docs that came with on the disk for ver 1.1 orwhatever but i'm an end user i don't have the tech docs and my dealer doesn't know how to do a damn thing i ask him i always do it myself.

here are the options to the dataset 1103 that doesn't work right. someone look at them and tell me if something is wrong please?

why are you not using 9600 baud?do you have a website that I could pull a phone number off the web? is there a modem on the pbx?

ICP what do you mean can i pull a phone number off the web? I can access it remotely from anywhere but I would be hesistant give that ip address to someone i don't know.

should the baud rate be changed to 9600 on the dataset? if so which form do i changed it in? 11?

I was trying to get your web site from you to get a phone number to speak to you because they frown on posting e mail
and phone numbers here and I would not dial in with out talking to you so or I could have walked you thru the process if you could tell me what you saw on the screen I guesss you are sol now I would have got this working for you the other night if you had replied like i asked CYA

is there a way to send a private message? we have an 800 number too

I tried to call you today and you were't there
I am going to guess at this your console has a power
supply pluged into it if it has the plug for a wall wart find it and plug it in.and I am only guessing at this because i don't have any ICP MX's out there but this is how the data set in the console works on the el. go to to 12 and find the the bay slot and circuit for the console
for the type enter dscons you more than likely can use data
descriptor 1 . go to directed IO 34 and tell the dscons
to auto print smdr(remove the entry for smdr from the ds1103) I am not connected but if you know
the screens you get the general idea hook up your
laptop to the console port match your hyper terminal
to your descriptor 1 like 4800,N 8 1 no flow control
who knows the MX may not support the dscons and this info is useless but give it a try!!

onother tip on the 1103 the jack for the 1103 is kinda of funny
it is on the black yellow of the jack and it is tipped over
you may want to check that out as well that would make you dataset not work right or not at all!

the console circuit in not in form 12. if it was i would know how to do it. is there something i have to do to make it show up in there? what were you saying about the plug?

do you know what bay slot circuit the console is on?
