I am trying to setup RRAS on a second server. I already have one running and under the IP Routing section there is a subsection called General. It has 3 properties: Loopback (127.0.0.1), Local Area Connection (10.13.1.20), and Internal (10.13.1.200). However on my second RRAS box I am not able to configure the Internal part of it. I am having problems and I think this has to be configured with the first address of the assigned addresses.

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

How many nics in the second RRAS server?

Just one...The first RRAS box has 2 however only 1 is configured and plugged into the network.

Install a second nic in server two.

Im looking at server one. Where do you configure the IP address for the internal?

Check the properties of the nic in my network places. The ip assignment is made there, and viewable in the RRAS configuration.

I only see one nic and that is configured for my local area connection (10.13.1.20). The address that I see for the internal is the first address of my static address pool from the IP properties.

The internal interface, or internal connection is a virtual interface that RRAS assigns. RRAS uses the interface named "Internal" as an endpoint for the incoming RAS connections.

As far as I can tell, the Internal Interface cannot be configured manually. It is automatically assigned an IP from your static pool or DHCP Server.

The IP addresses are static, starting from 10.13.1.216 -.221
and I dont know why that the internal interface isnt 10.13.1.216. I cant find any differences between server one and this one?

I am currently having the same issue, did you find a fix for this?
