Hi everyone

Im trying to enable remote workspace on our 2003 sbs server for the users to access webmail.

I have got a static IP address from BT.

i can go to HTTP:/server/remote and it works fine

if i enter the external ip address from a pc not on the network i get "you are not authorized to view this page"
The web server you are attempting to reach has a list of ip addresses on that are not allowed to access to site, and the ip address of your browsing computer is on the list

My negear DGFV 338 has the following setting on the firewall

Default Outbound Policy: Allow Always

DNS:TCP Allow Always 192.168.254.1:1701 ANY ADSL NONE Never
DNS:TCP Allow Always 192.168.254.1:1723 ANY ADSL NONE Never
DNS:TCP Allow Always 192.168.254.1:4500 ANY ADSL NONE Never
HTTP Allow Always 192.168.254.1 ANY ADSL NONE Never
DNS:TCP Allow Always 192.168.254.1:4125 ANY ADSL NONE Never
ANY Allow Always 192.168.254.1:3690 ANY ADSL NONE Never

any help would be greatly appreciated

Many Thanks

Hi Guys

Thanks for that it worked a treat. the only problem im getting now is certificate errors. does anyone have any ideas how to get rid of these.

Many Thanks again guys

Vince

Buy a cert for your site. GoDaddy's are the cheapest, about $19. That will make it possible for you to do Exchange ActiveSync as well as not get cert errors when users use OWA.
