Hi guys.

Im trying to setup OWA with out much success. i have had our web host setp up a a record of mail.ourwebaddress.co.uk to translate to our external ip address. I have opened ports 80, 444, 4125 and 443 on our firewall. Under internet and email i have setup remote access with the server name mail.ourwebaddress.co.uk. when i go to mail.ourwebaddress.co.uk i get the webpage cannot be found. if i ping mail.ourwebaddress i get a reply from the correct ip address.

any ideas

Many thanks

Vinnie

Does yourexternalipaddress/exchange work?

Does mail.ourwebaddress.co.uk/exchange work?

Did you run the ICW? That should handle all the server configuration you will need for OWA. And then the url is as noveyron stated

(if using FBA)

You only need port 443 for OWA. If you are using RWW then you need 4125 for the RDP portion of RWW and you need 80 if you are NOT using SSL.

You also need to make sure in the wizard you select Outlook web access for external access

Thanks guys for you replies.

That works great.
I'm now setting up a windows mobile phone for one of the director. I have install new certificates from godaddy which appear to be working fine. just wanted to know when i connect the mobile phone to his pc and it asks for the exchange server do i send it to or any help would be greatly received. many thanks
