Hi there guys, hope someone can help me on this one. I've just been given the responsiblity of managing our VOIP Mitel phones at the company i work for.

I'd like to know how & where I can program a extension to make International calls on the Mitel 3300 ICP WebInterface.

If you need more info please tell me where to find them & I'll give them to you (I'm very new to this)

Calls from the Web interface?
Could you describe your task in simple words?

Well I work in the I.T. Department & we managed the Mitel Switch from here. We can do all the programming via our Mitel 3300 ICP Web Interface.

So a user wants to make a internal call but cant because im sure the handset needs programming. Where do i do that programming.

If I am correct in assuming that a new phone has been created and it is not functioning the same as other phones, the form you need to check is "Station Service Assignment"
Observe the values for a working phone and program the new phone accordingly.

You might also want to check:

Call re-routing assignment
Multiline key assignment
Telephone Directory

Do you have system admin password? If so you need to open up your web browser. IE recommended. Log in the system. Click on system administration tool.

Yes I have access to "System Administration Tool" once there where do i go exactly to program a extension to make International calls.
The phones we implemented to this department are still new and only voicemail has been setup...further than that I'm still learning

It' might be important to assign the same class of service to the new phones as you have addigned to working phones. Look in Station Service assignment form

This is so complicated.
I just need to give 1 extension access to International Calling...maybe others if reqested.
Eg. This is what i get...what do i change for international dialing
Ext.7861
Intercept Number:1
Class of service-Day:4
Class of service-Night1:4
Class of service-Night2:4
Class of restriction-Day:2
Class of restriction-Night1:2
Class of restriction-Night2:2
Compression Zone ID:1

You need to read up on Class of Restriction and Class of Restriction Groups, as well as ARS.

ARS(Automatic Route Selection) is how your sets get an outside line and uses Class of Restriction Groups to allow or deny calls. The basic rule is "if your COR# on the set is listed in the COR Group assigned to the route, you are denied access." One instructor I had at Mitel said "if you're in the group, you're out of the call!"

ARS can be difficult for even seasoned techs, so don't get too upset if you don't figure it out. You may need to have your service provider assist you.

The other possibility could be that International calls are barred at the circuit provider level.

Do you have phones that are currently capable of making the calls you want?

If yes, copy their values as I suggested earlier.

If no, then this is going to take some time to instruct you how to set up your system.

(Let's hope for Yes)

LOL sorry to say but the answer is no. The only programming done thus far was to setup Voicemail which was simple. So none of our users with VOIP phones can dial internationaly yet. Was hoping i would not have to log a call with our supplier as they will then charge us for there service. (Dam)

So, you need a service contract. They will do whatever you want and make as many changes you wish for fixed fee.
Unfortunately there is no red button saying "enable international calls
