Cannot get password right

BCM Callpilot default password is not a number

setting up F982 requires password

I my be miss understanding your post, but Night services is F871. F982 is attendant status. To program a buttom - F*3, choose button, dial in F871.

If its not working, get a bigger hammer!

No just trying to set up a night line button. I got the F982 from Tek-Tips forum

What post is that?
None of the 3 sentences you wrote have anything to do about programming a button.

Lets rephrase since a night button can be anything.

What is it you are trying to accomplish?
-Program a service mode button so that auto attendant or particular phones answers calls at night? (F871)
-Tell the system that the attendant is not available for the night (F982)

F982 default password most certainly is a number but it does spell a word as well.

Please try not to be so brief so we don't have to keep asking too many questions, close out the threads you started with the resolution and also you still have not answered one of them in the general forum about.
People take the time to reply and help so it's nice when you return the favor.
Thanks!
