setting up an odbc server on progress 9.1

Hi.
We are running MXP application on Progress 9.1 on AIX 4.3.3 and need to set up an ODBC server so we can have ODBC access to the Progress database.
I am aware of Openlink and Merant ODBC drivers, but I've only ever set up the client side before. MXP says they have no ODBC server configured for their application. Does anyone have any idea of how to set up an ODBC server to a Progress database?

Hi there,

I believe there is an option during the Progress install to setup the services for odbc. I believe its referred to as OI Broker. Check your documentation for that name. Once you have that service running on aix, you will have access to the database via any Progress-compatible odbc driver.
