Setting up an Avaya Prologix for dadmin reset

Avaya requires me to setup an Avaya Prologix pbx external connection for a dadmin password reset. I've gotten a modem, but can someone tell me how to setup up the connections properly.

on a prologix you must connect the modem to the multi cable connectopr that says modem on it. I don't recall but you may need a null modem cable for this. try both. the modem should be a us robotics 56k fax modem and the dipswitches should be 3,5and 8 down. you may need to populate the system maintenance screen for the modem to work properly. page 3.
