I have been running a 5.5EP GW on a closed LAN/WAN for inturnal mail and and have a GWIA to get internet mail but not send due to a FireWall that the state run. this has been a problem so we are going off the state network for our e-mail. we also used the client to get there mail.

With the new server I would like to use WebAcces to get and send mail. I have never done this. What do I need in order to make this work?

I have the WebAccess Agent running
MTA
POA
Netware Enterprise Web Server
Apache
and I am working on the gwia

any helpwork be great

Just to clarify..
WebAccess only give you a portal into your mailbox. It does not send or recieve email. You need the GWIA for send/recieve of internet mail.
You appear to have the software installed to use webaccess, but you will still need a valid domain, and an open internet connection that will resolve DNS and allow SMTP to get your gwia working.

you will need the following components:

primary domain
MTA
post office
POA
Web Server (Netscape Enterprise/Apache)
WebAccess Application
WebAccess Agent
GWInternet Agent

all of that will fit on one server, but all netware best practices guide suggests against it...

I how have a working GWIA.
it has been so long. i don't know how to use it when sending mail. any help would be great.

But the GWIA, MTA,... where not loaded so I restarted the server now the webaccess won't run. I get the error that syntax is: GWINTER[@filename] [options].

new problem

I have three user in the system. go to the login screen type userID and Password i am told that there is something wrong with the password. and at the WebAccess agent shows that a login failed Login rejected password incorrect.

in my reading it say to have a password setup in order to login with WebAccess youneed a password so i set them but still not able to login.

Is there a place/s that i can see how far the login went?

Sorry for all the ????
