-To All,

I have a customer service dept that are all on a ACD Line. Well next week is out "Company Pinic" and for one hour I need the phones set up when customer's call in, there is a message that is said to them, so that they know they will are or will be closed between these hours of business, and to please try calling again later.

Can someone please help me in this matter !?!?

short solution, a as mail box, pick a vacant number, put it in your voice service dn table (mail) define and record an announcement service.. on the switch in load 23 against the acdn return down to ncfw and make that the same number. any time all agents are logged off, she goes into nights and you hear your new recording..

johnpoole,

I have another question I have picked my line number, and I am soon to be setting the vm up for this. I am currently reading through the instruction manual. But I seem to be lost. You said to set it up under the NCFW part. Right? Well, I dont see anywhere in the prompt in the manual that has the option available.

I am looking on pg 584 of 1004, and it starts:

ACD or SCB: Automatic Call Distribution (ACD-D) or Schedule data Block

if you are routing to a mail announcement set the ncfw to the mail number and then in the VSDN add the acd number to the Announcement

It's not getting any smarter out there. You have to come to terms with stupidity, and make it work for you.

i would set the ncfw to xxxx then make xxxx an acd with the ncfw=to my vm acd dn.. then make that an as in mail.. the announcement would play if all agents log off.. to test the as, build a temp acd of zzzz, ncfw that to the announcement service dn.. dial the temp acd dn zzzz.. you get the ncfw recording ..out the temps
