setting up 2960 switch and router for vlans

i have set up a WLC 4402 and a DHCP server with different scopes for the different networks and have set up a 2960 switch.
i have created a vlan on the wireless Lan controller(WLC) and then created a Wlan to be attached to the vlan. i set the ports on the switch as trunk e.g. the port connecting to the switch is a trunk. but the clients are not reciving IP addresses from the DHCP.
Each vlan has a different gateway address so i tried creating sub interfaces on the port that connects to the router but the switch is saying:

i am trying to create access points for users so that they can connect to the internet

the users should be able to get ip addresses from the DHCP but they aren't.
the router gateway is 192.168.0.1 but the vlan is in the 192.168.10.X network as 192.168.10.2 gateway how do i make it direct to the router with creating sub interfaces on the router itself, if there is a way

The 2960 is a new generation layer 2 switch but it will not support that command that your'e trying to apply.It will support terminating Vlan's on a VLAN interface with ip address.But what you want to do is a bit tricky.Your best option would be to do the old fashion router on a stick.
Where's your DHCP server located in the network?Maybe you may need the ip address-helper command or you can make the 2960 into a DHCP server.

first of you need inter-vlan routing, and the 2960 i'm sure doesnt support the "ip route" command. Whatever is goin to be doing your intervlan routing be it a 3560 (which would be much easier as you would only use the ip-helper command pointing to your dhcp server and walaa!!!) should be capable of the "option 82" functionality which is basically tagging the dhcp request packet with the gateway address of the vlan on which the requesting device is connected thus your DHCP server will give out the correct ip address based on the requesting clients vlan gateway and hopefully the dhcp server (e.g winServ2K8) supports option 82 tagging.. and please note the dhcp server will only give the ip address based on the vlan associated with the SSID from the WLC. Proxim AP4000M's support 16 SSID's which can each be tagged with different vlans and so u can have 16 dhcp scopes for each SSID if you so desire. Hope that helps out a bit. Cheers!!
