I need a way to set the value of a field to match that of the record above it. I would rather not use Sendkeys.

Is there a way to do this without moving the focus to the field. The field in question has a "On Got Focus" VB code on it already that perhibits it from actually receiving the focus.

Any Ideas?

does the field have a name? if so, you might be able to do this.

FieldName.Text (or caption if it is a label) = FieldAbove.Value

I hope this helps

I am not sure if I understand the syntax. My field is called RecNum.

So..

RecNum.Text = RecNumAbove.Value

??
