I have created a tabbed form on which I drop various fields. The problem is that the tab form has a white background and not the normal form background (-2147483633). So it looks out of place.

Is there any way of setting the colour? I can not find it in the properties for the tab.

Are you talking about a form with a tab control on it?

If so, is the main form white and the tab control set to transparent?

Or

Did you create a tabular form with the wizard and want to change the background color the "textboxes" displaying the data?

Hi

I created a form with a tab control. Each individual page and there are 6 of them, has a white background. The page does not take up the full size of the form. So there is a boundary all round the page which has the normal form background colour.

I can not see any where in the properties of the page that you could set it to transparent or set a background colour.

I have access 2000

Under the tab controls "Format" properties look at the "Back Style

Hi

I am using Access 2003
In properties for "page1" under format there is no entry for back style

Hi

I found the TabCtl0 property box. and the back style entry.

It makes no difference what it is set at. ( normal or transparent) The page always appears with a white background.

I have created a number of test forms with a tab control and every time the pages have a white background. It looks bad when set against the other forms in the database.

In Access click on Tools -> Options. Then click the "Forms/Reports" tab. Then deselect "Use Windows Themed Controls on Forms". Apply and reopen your form. The tab control should be the normal background now, but your command buttons and other controls will also look slightly different.
