I have exported a drop down menu from Fireworks into Dreamweaver into a left frame Left.htm and I am trying to show its links in the target frame Main.htm to the right of the Menu. When used, the linked html page is displayed in the Left frame and not the intended Main.htm.

Do I have to set the target frame in fireworks before I import the menu (as I have tried) or can It be done in Dreamweaver (as tried)

Thanks Nic

I reckon it can be done in Dreamweaver - you will need to amend script to inclde a target frame. I am not familiar with the Fireworks menu's - if you post html for left.htm I dont mind having a look.

Set the target of the link in your menu.

For example:

Code:
<a href="mylink.htm" target="frameName">My Link</a>

In your frameset you have named your frames. Insert the frame "name" for your content frame into "frameName" above.

Hope it helps.

Wow JT that almost looked like you knew what you were doing!
