setting nt4 permissions on multiple directories

Hi everyone...

I'm having a problem at the moment where I need to set permissions on over 200 directories under a folder for one user to have full access. No matter which way I approach it, it would seem that the permissions need to be reset on all folders for this to work, or I need to do each directory individually. Is there a tool out there that will set the permissions up without resetting each folders previously set permissions?

Try using the cacls command. You get get more info at MS KB 162786
