Setting message after 12 rings at only certain times in the day?

Hello, I have recently been tasked with reconfiguring a companies phone system.

They have got a professionally recorded message that they want only to play after 12 rings on the main (public) number but only between 9 and half 5.

I can't find the relevant settings in BCM or CallPilot manager.

Does anybody here know how? I have been racking my brains for a good while now.

Thier is no setting that automaticly changes the amount a rings takes befor auto attendant picks up in tables you can set it
to pickup after 11 ring that would be a fixed number. or 1 ring with a service button or you can set it for auto service
and set up a time table for it to pick up in sertine dfays or time of day )service change it from manual to auto then go and
set days of week and time
 
As one of the first things I tried the outcome was the same in a Class of services for mailboxes there is no notation or setting for unified messaging on the BCM 400
I tried changing the classes services several times no difference

Is it possible you could explain what I have to do just to get it to play the message after 12 rings?

As I am not sure how I should set it up.

Go under table and apply the greeting that you want to use, then go under lines and set them to answer on 12 rings.


This could be a problem if you have lines that appear and ring on phones ie. if a phone is forwarding to voicemail after 4 rings and has a number of lines that are set to ring on it then calls will go to these mailboxes after 4 rings instead of going to the AA on 12 rings. Hope that makes sense to you.

We currently have a main line that rings all the phones and we can also individually call phones from outside the property (if that makes sense)

we want the recorded message to play after so many rings on the mainline but still have the individual voice mails when directly calling the individual numbers.

Also how can we check if a message has been left on the main line?

Sorry about this but the BCM software is so complicated and all over the place.

I have set up the auto attendant and the greeting tables but it just carries on ringing, it does not ever play the message.

Ringing individual lines work with voicemail.

Is there a little setting I have missed?
