Setting maximum number of UNDO's

Version 10 had a setting in preferences for limiting UNDO's to conserve memory. Can't find it in CS3, is it there?

...unlike photoshop, illustrator is only limited by the amount of computer memory for undo, so there is no memory/history settings...

Version 10 DID have such a setting. I can't find it in CS3. I was wondering if it had been removed or if I was just unable to locate it.
