Can Exchange 2003 be set to both receive and send on more than one domain name?

E.g. Main domain name ?@domain1.co.uk wants to be setup for all but 2 users for sending and receiving
?@domain2.co.uk wants to be set up so one user can receive only but send out on domain1.co.uk
and 2 users want to send and receive on ?@domain3.co.uk as well as receive domain1.co.uk. email. .

That is all doable natively with Exchange, you only encounter problems if you want a user to switch between sending from different domain names on a regular basis

Have a quick read up on recipient policies and default smtp addresses, it is relatively straightforward

Will post some links if you dont know where to start ?

msworld's link above pretty much sums up the process for your exchange server, you would also need to have your ISP point your domain2 and domain3 MX records at your IP address, and configure a reverse dns record for each domain.

As far as Primary and Secondary smtp addresses go, whatever you set as primary (in ADUC) is what will be seen as your sending address, the user will be able to recieve for all configured addresses without any further administrative intervention

I have been mulling this over for A while now. I am with you right up to the reverse DNS part. Since RDNS works on the IP address and most RDNS lookups only take the first name listed, if there are multiple I will end up with some mail being rejected unnecessarily.

I know I can also setup multiple SMTP virtual servers to and have each one accept mail for a separate domain but that only takes care of half of the problem. Since now domain X and Y have different IP addresses and separate RDNS entries, how do I make domain X send using the virtual SMTP server for domain X.
