Setting Different Work Hours for Different Resources

I've used MSP 2000-2003 for a number of years, but I have just started using MSP 2007. I am having a difficult time setting the working hours for a "non-standard default" resource to 60 hours per week instead of the standard 40 hrs per week. When I setup a "resource" calendar for 60 hrs per week and select it for the that resource, it changes the durations of all tasks to reflect a 60 hr week. Most are 40 hr weeks and a select few are a 60 hr week.
What am I doing wrong?

Maybe all tasks where that resource is being used. But ALL tasks?

I have simply two resources I need.

One is for the majority of schedule tasks and is a "Joiner" resource with 40 hrs/week.

The other is for minority tasks and is a "Steel" resource with 60 hrs/week.

I have assigned the "standard calendar" to the "Joiner" resource in the Resource Sheet which by default is 40 hr/week.

I selected the "Standard" calendar for the "Steel" resource. I open up the screen to change the the work days of the week (Mon thru Sat) and the work times per day and saved.

When I assigned the "Steel" resource the new 60 hrs/week calendar, it adjusts the tasks' durations requiring the "Steel" resource just fine. The problem is the "Joiner" task's durations adjust to 60 hr/week alsos.I want the "Joiner" resourced tasks to be 40 hrs/week.

The resource quantity and work values remain unchanged and
that is ok. It's just the durations (days) that decease, because of the 60 hrs no applies to ALL TASKS.
