Setting Daytime Auto-attendant

I have a small customer that wants to run 2 separate businesses from his Magix R1; Messaging R1.1 One business wants Messaging to answer all incoming calls, with selector code choices during day. The second business wants to answer their lines with a live attendant and voice mail coverage. I am having trouble figuring out how to setup Messaging to answer all incoming calls. I'm not sure how to get Magix programmed properly. Would appreciate any help, thank you.
 
Set the Merlin Messaging Calling group to answer the lines you want, then assign the lines to the desired AA in the voice mail system.

Thank for your response. Don't I have to build some type of phantom extension to cover the DLC operator and assign that to group 770 or 771 in order for Messaging to answer the incoming calls? I'm still not clear on that.

Assign the lines to be answered immediatly to the Voice Mail Calling Group (typically 770). In the Auto Attendant, assign the lines to the correct auto attendant.

Assign the lines to be answered delayed to another calling group, and set that group to overflow to the Voice Mail calling group on a time delayed basis. Create a mailbox with the same extension number as the delayed calling group, and point it to the correct auto attendant for those lines. Can't hurt to also assign the lines to the auto attendant, especially if you want immediate answering at night.
