I want to set up a COR to receive calls but only make local calls.
How would I do this. I have looked at the COR's we have in place. Would it be page 3 and 4 in Avaya Site Administrator?
If so what are the changes I need to make?

The Facility Restriction Level (FRL) determines your calling capabilities. The lower the FRL the more restricted it is. 0 is the most restricted, 7 is the least restricted. You would want to check the local exchanges in the ARS analysis table to see what route pattern they use. Check the route pattern for the FRL required to use those trunk groups. That should be the FRL in the COR. You didn't state if you set up the ARS or inherited it from someone else. It can be difficult to figure out someone else's logic.

Use a combination of
trunk groups/routes/cors(FRL)/ars

example:
trunk grp 1 = local CO lines
trunk grp 2 = LD t1

ars 7 digit uses route w/grp1 that needs atleast a FRL 4
ars 10 digit uses route w/grp2 that needs atleast a FRL 5

cor 3(public) has FRL = 4
cor 0 (admin) has FRL = 5

Now any ext. use assign cor 3 to can only make 7 digit local calls.

Any ext. you assign cor 0 can make 7 or 10 digit calls.

I have done this before but it has been a long time and forgot how to. What is the command line to type to look at the ars tables? I know I can type disp ars analysis 0 and get all the 0 #'s.
