Greetings

Does anyone know how to reset a 5330 back to factory defaults ? Playing around with the easiest way to swap/move/add Users and was wondering if there was a reset code for the telephones .

Thanks

Rich

Unplug network cable from wall or phone, whichever is easiest to get to. Plug it back in and press the up and down arrow keys (volume) at the same time until the menu options come up. First will be "Network Parameters?" Use pound to answer NO until you get to "TOOLS AND FEATURES" select * for YES, you will see ERASE PIN? come up. Select # a few times until "RESTORE DEFAULTS?" come up... select * and follow go along from there.

Awesome Thx as I knew it could be done . Easier to default a tel then to swap at times !

Wish we could log in and out like a true SIP device !

Maybe send that over to Mitel as an enhancement request !

this wont remove the mac address from the MCD . if you reconnect it to the same system it will come up as the same extension

- you need to delete its mac address to force it back to initial setup ( enter pin followed by hold)

If I never did anything I'd never done before , I'd never do anything.....

I'll test this out !

Thx for the tip !!

Wonder why the mac stays in the system now that the tel has been deleted ....
