Hi,
I have been installation Cisco WAN Manager on Sun Fire 280R system with Solaris 8 OS. Installation start smoothly and when time come to finish, it halt.

The log message is as below:-

Adding the user svplusValue of useradd 9... Done
Setting the password for user Informix

As per Cisco is because of the OS can not reste the password. CWM create default users and set password for the same.

I try to run the ./setpasswd command and doesn't worked, otherwise I can create user by useradd command and assign password etc.

Can any one help me out resolve this problem pls.

Thanks & Regards,
Koya

try passwd <account name>

[Blue]Blue[/Blue] [Dragon]

If I wasn't Blue, I would just be a Dragon...

Thanks for your response blue,

I can use useradd & passwd etc., I have to try with ./setpasswd , why setpasswd doesn't work?

Some one pls try on this.

koya,

In your error message it says "Setting the password for user Informix". Does the Informix ID exist?
