My informix 7.31 server is set on solaris(unix)
I am using Win2000 Ad. Server
I allready copy to winnt/system32/drivers/etc
the files: services and hosts from the unix machine at etc/services and etc/hosts to winnt.
on etc/services a found:
server1 997/tcp # SERVER OF INFORMIX ONLINE
server2 998/tcp # SERVER OF INFORMIX ONLINE
server3 999/tcp # SERVER OF INFORMIX ONLINE
server4 995/tcp # SERVER OF INFORMIX ONLINE
server5 996/tcp # SERVER OF INFORMIX ONLINE

on setnet32:
informix server: myserver
hostname : 192.168.80.2 (ip of the server)
protocolname: onsoctcp
server Name: server1

Now ... i try to access via demo and i goto the follow error
[informix][isqcto4a] SQL error (-908) :attt....

I tray FAQ from Informix site
TCP/IP is OK
Telnet from Both is OK
the server is runing.

what I miss?

Please i need some help on this.

Have you tried DBPing in C:\informix\bin usually. With it you can see if your database configuration is working or is something else.
