Set up a multiuser environment

I've created an application, and it needs to be able to handle more than one user at a time. Whenever I try to run more than one instance of the application I get an error(#1569) saying that i tried to write to a write protected database container. Is there any specific thing that I have to do to make it allow more than one user?
