I am having trouble correcting the time on the cs1000 5.5. The time is slow by five minutes. I have been trying to correct it using LD 2, confirming current time TTAD, then correcting STAD in the format mm day yyyy hour min sec. What am i doing wrong?

though about going to NTP? Also, it is not an "instant" change, what displays on your tty will eventually get to the set displays.

Do you mean the Network Time Protocol in Element Manager? If so, I tried that but it states I do not have rights to the Time and Date.

Is the system not accepting the STAD command (SEC0019) or is the time not updating on the phones? In Rls 5.5 you need to log into the system with the admin2 login/password (or with an account with that level access). Also, sets can take around 6 minutes to update after adjusting the time with STAD.

Ok, my mistake--I am receiving the SEC0019 which I presume I do not have the correct security level. Thanks for everyone's help

Actually the format is dd mm yy hh mm ss

This is how we did it on a 6.0 system.

To set up NTP (Network TIme Protocol) on a 6.0 PBX, go to LD 117 and stat ntp. It'll initially show status as disabled and no IP addresses configured. Type in chg ntp ipaddr (primary NTP server IP address) (secondary NTP server IP address). Should look like this: chg ntp ipaddr x.x.x.x x.x.x.x.
Next type in chg utcoffset -6 00 if in central time zone. Then you'll type in enl ntp. Lastly, type in sync ntp manual. This sync's up the PBX to the NTP server.

when you are in ld 2 and stad c xx xx

if it comes back to the . without an error code, and the time change does not take, then the problem is not between the keyborad and the chair..

quick test, stad then disu/enlu a digital, that will push the time change to that set next.. otherwise on a larger system it could take an hour or more the update all sets
