The customer has a 7406+ with 3 call appearances.

When a call comes-in to the Definity G3, it will ring 5 times and then goes to AUDIX.

If the customer answers the call, the next call goes directly to AUDIX.

The customer would like to have the second call ring 5 times before going to AUDIX.
This would give the chance to place the first call on hold and answer the second call.

How do you setup 5 rings for the second call?

The station is setup for coverage path 15 and the following features:
LWC reception MSA-SPE Coverage msg retrieval y
LWC activation y Auto Answer none
CDR Privacy n Data restriction n
Redirect Notification y Idle apprearance n

COVERAGE PATH 15 criteria is:
STATUS INSIDE OUTSIDE
Active y y
Busy y y
Don’t Answer y y number of rings 5
All n n
DND/SAC/go to cover y y

Coverage point 1: h1

I think what is happening is the second call is not going straight to Audix, it is just not ringing on their phone. It is just giving them a blinking light (which most of the time goes unnoticed). In order for it to GTC the first two lines must be busy (the third always reserved to transfer)or it is not answered in so many rings.

You could try to make the "active station ringing" to continuous and that will make all their calls rings even if they are on line 1. (Second page of the station form) This is usually set to a quick half ring and then just blinks.

Hell, there are no rules here - we're trying to accomplish something.

Change the Active options to N.

I believe with the Active option set to Y it will roll straight to cov when this person is on the phone.

Tried setting Active Station Ringing to "Continuous" (do not have "no" as an option. Nothing changes.

When a call comes-in to the Definity G3vs, it will ring 5 times and then goes to AUDIX.

When the customer answers the first call, the next call goes to AUDIX after one ring.

The customer would like to have the second call ring 5 times before going to AUDIX.

On the station form, about in the middle of page one, I can make an entry for “Active Station Ringing: the choices are 1] continuous 2] if-busy-single 3] silent
4] single.

Option 1 ,2 & 4 give one ring and then Audix picksup. The question is where do I find the parameter that will give 5 rings before going to Audix?

Did you change the cover path 15 "Active" options to N?

I believe it is what matthewk24 said...
change active to n, on both inside and outside.
That is how ours are set, and all calls go to audix after three rings...
you have active set to y, so if any call-apprearence is active, it will automatically goto cover....

OK I will do the following ---

Set COVERAGE PATH 15 criteria to:
STATUS INSIDE OUTSIDE
Active n n
Busy y y
Don’t Answer y y number of rings 5
All n n

And set the STATION criteria for
Active Station Ringing to "Continous"
Or should it be "Single"?

You can set it for either.

If you set it to single, the phone will produce 1/2 a ring to identify an incoming call and the call appearance lamp will blink until the call is redirected to voice mail or answered.

If you set it to continuous, the phone will continue to ring out loud until it is answered or goes to voice mail.

Good luck!

I want to thank everyone who help solve this.

Here is how I set it up so that
when the first line is busy, the second call will ring once then blink four times and then go to AUDIX.

COVERAGE PATH 15 criteria set to:
STATUS INSIDE OUTSIDE
Active n n
Busy y y
Don’t Answer y y number of rings 5
All n n

STATION criteria set for
Active Station Ringing >> "if-busy-single"
