Hello,

I would like to enable a screen saver for all user and give them the option to be able to choose a screen saver they want. But I want to remove the "none" option from the list.

I have a Windows 2003 Domain, how do i go about removing the "None" option? Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the reply. Where exactly is it in the GPO? Thanks again.

I did this recently.

Place you default screen saver in .SCR format in a shared location (even hidden \\server\share$ ) then set the permissions for who can change it and who has read and execute only!

You don't want mr funny changing it to something slightly "exciting"!!!

You may also want to consider the following related settings;
Policy Setting
Hide Screen Saver tab -Enabled
Password protect the screen saver - Enabled
Screen Saver - Enabled
Screen Saver executable name - Enabled

These are in the same place as decribed by Jesse.

Thanks for the response Iain. I've tried all this and it does work. But what I want to do is to give my user the ability to change the screen saver (windows default screen savers), but not be able to choose none. Is that possible? Thanks.
