How do I limit calls on a CDN so upon reaching the maximum, callers would receive a busy signal, so that callers to our corporate offices do not receive a busy signal

A little more flexible would be changing the script for that group, add the following early in the script.

IF (QUEUED CALL COUNT YOUR_SKILLSET_NAME_sk) >= 48 THEN
GIVE BUSY CONTROLLED
DISCONNECT
END IF

Where YOUR_SKILLSET_NAME_SK is your skillset, and >= 48 is the number of cued calls.

The busy signal is likely coming from the telco to the caller. ie all your trunks are used up. What you may want to do is talk with your telco about separating/limiting the inbound trunks for your office and your Symposium calls. This may require adding another trunk (T-1/PRI etc) but it sounds like business might be pretty good if you are getting enough calls to fill up all your trunks so adding may not be an issue.

Thanks for these suggestions, and they are right on the mark. We are looking into adding a T1 and using trunks to separate capacity.
I have noticed in the configuration of a CDN that are many options, but have found difficulty finding information.
Such as routes, 2nd routes, overflow etc

Some items may be useless, because Symposium takes over when the CDN is acquired
