Set lock

We have IPO 9.05 with 9611 telephones. The customer has locked their reception telephone. In manager I set a PIN for them. She can go to the unlock feature from her phone, enter the pin, it prompts for pin2, then pin3, then pin4. But it never unlocks.

She can answer but cannot make or transfer calls.

What are we doing wrong? The PIN is 7 digits, a 4 digit pin did not work either.

where exactly did you set the pin code?

I set it under USER / Password for that user.

Is it needed under extension?

I have never user that feature but try setting the password under user/telephony/supervisor settings/ login code, like I said have never used it but worth a shot

Login Code/Confirm Login Code

User>password is for applications only, User>Teelephony>Supervisor settings>login code is amongst other things for locking the phone.
