set getURL to a dialog window

I use window.showModalDialog to open my flash. I named my dialog window as "flashintro". I set my flash movie under getURL at the end of movie to point to another page on same dialog window as getURL("

http://www.xxx.com/xx.htm","flashintro")

yet the script open up a new window instead of pointing to the dialog window.

I can't figure what wrong with my setting. If I use a text hyperlink to doing the same thing, it will work just fine.
