Set focus Subform Issue

Hello

I'm sure I'm missing somthing stupid but I can't get my text box on a subform to be set when it opens.

I have a main form with several buttons each opening a diffent subform in the main form.

I don't want the user to have to click on the first box, but have the curser already there.

any help is apreicated

Forms!MainForm!SubForm.Form.controlname.setfocus

Thanks Guys, that was a Great Help. I see where I had my syntax all wrong.
