I am not sure if this is possible, but can the file path name be set to automatically insert to a Word or Excel file when the file is saved? I would also like the option to not print the file name in some instances.

Any feed back would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance....

In WORD, use VIEW, Header/Footer. Then select INSERT, AUTOTEXT, and "Filename and Path".

In Excel, using either Page Setup, Header & Footer or VIEW, Header & Footer, select either Custom Header or Custom Footer and choose the File Name button (next to last button choice).

Thanks for the feedback, however, the solution provided would have to be performed evertime a document is created. What I want is something performed automatically, so that the Header/Footer, INSERT, AUTOTEXT, "Filename and Path" funcion does not have to be performed.

Thanks
