Set default value on an unbound textbox

Could someone help me on setting a default value on an unbound textbox? Thanks in advance.

Hi!

In the property window on the Data tab you will find a box called Default Value. Put the value there and it will come up for every new record.

Thanks, I tried that and it doesn’t work for men when I open the form the textbox has (#name) in it.
