Set a TFTP Server in Cisco IOS 1

Dear all

I installed, configured a i'm in charge of maintaing a Network with a couple of Cisco 3750 Switches.

I've heard that it's possible to set a Preffered TFTP Server in IOS, so that when I make a copy of the startup-config or running-config, it will automatically go to this one, without asking me.

Unfortunately I didn't find anything in Google or in the Cisco Dokumentation.

Can anyone help me.

Sorry, not possible. The only thing tou can set is the source interface from where the session starts.

Does this mean that I can set that the switch will everytime use the same Port on which he will send the TFTP Packets?

When the TFTP Server is attached directly to it, then this will work. But what is with the other switches? Then I have to create a special routing for TFTP Packets. Is this possible on this type of switches?

Cisco advises to do your management stuff in the default VLAN sinds this vlan is always present. So if you have multiple switches in de same VTP domain you must configure a ip adres on the Default vlan. So if your tftp server is still in the same VTP domain and the switchport where the server is on is configured in vlan1 (default vlan) you must be able to connect to this server from all the switches sinds they are in the same ip subnet in the same vtp domain and the same vlan. If there is a router between the switches (WANLINK) you must configure the switches on the other side of the link in a different VTP domein and defferent subnet.

The ip tftp source interface command makes shore that the source address vor tftp is the ip adres of the just mengoned command.
