Hi,
I have two applications running on the same webserver say lab1 and lab2

lab1 is in the root inetpub/ and has a global.asa which is empty.
lab2 is on c drive c:\lab2 and I create a virtual link as an application.
The application on lab2 works on some client browsers and does not on the others. Having or not a global.asa in this application root is not making any difference.
All browsers that I tried are IE6.0
Can anybody help me with this?
Thanks.

I experienced a similar problem when our users upgraded to IE6. The cause turned out to be that the server name contained an underscore and IE6 no longer persists asp sessions on servers whose name contains the underscore character.

Thanks for the tip. We also have an underscore in the server name. But that is wierd don't you think?? Can you direct me to any article or wep page that explains this? Thanks a lot once again. I have been trying to fix this for a few days now.
Madhavi
