session varialbles lose value, please help!

I found out that all session variables in one of my ASP applications lose their values after I reconfigured my computer.

The weird thing is the same code worked perfectly in the past and still works pretty well on other machines. Also, if I test the copy on the remote server, everything is fine. The only problem is when I try to test the local copy, all session variables just cannot keep their values. Please note that the local copy is the same as the remote one.

do you have cookies enabled in your browser configuration?

The privacy setting of my browser (IE 6) is "accept all cookies". And I’ve also added the website as “always allow” in my list of web sites. Maybe I have done something wrong. But the problem is still there.

Could you give me some detailed advices on how to enable cookies?
