I have seen a few posts asking a similar question but couldn't find any answer so far. I use Active Directory authentication for users to logon to a site that is created using SharePoint Portal. The site and the authentication works fine but would like to take it to the next level. Now I want to implement a session time out after a certain period of time (eg, 20 minutes of inactivity). I have tried playing with IIS Enable Session timeout, Web Page security validation in Central Administration page and the web.config file but haven't been susscessful. Is there a way to enable a session timeout on SharePoint Portal Site????

Thanks in advance for any help/ideas.

Thanks ouzojd for the response but I have already tried playing with IIS and web.config file and was not able to accomplish what I'm looking for. Any other ideas?

Thanks.
