We are using Citrix XP on top of W2K servers. All has seemed well, but this has reared it's ugly head. We've published applications and desktops. Any user (including admins) log in no matter what server, it logs you in, doesn't start the application, then logs you out. It doesn't seem to happen if I go tothe desktop. This is frustrating!
I have Novell tied to NT4 domain via edirectory. I'm at a loss.

Your problem is probably more indepth than this, but we get the same problem when we run out of space on the C drive of any of our Citrix servers; fails to load the roaming profile so kicks you out.

I have seen this when a user launches an application that the data resides on another server. The users that do not have the proper rights to the data server will experience this. The application starts and looks for the resource, cannot find it and the application fails to start. Does this application run locally on the Citrix server or does it need data or a mapping to another server for the application to start? Also, can a user having this trouble log onto a desktop and start the application from there?

Mike, sorry it has taken me so long to answer your questions, it's been a bad hair month. The applications, 99% of them, have a application/data server and the citrix servers are just go betweens. I don't think it's rights, because I'm a Domain Admin/Novell admin and I get the same problems. The published app starts, logs me in, loads my personal settings, then saves my personal settings and cuts me off. I don't know about the desktop thing, I'll try that tomorrow.

Thanks,
Scott
