Services Keep Stopping.......

Hi,

I have 15+ servers i'm trying to keep running but certain services keepstopping for no reason at all. I can't work out if it Virus, Spyware or something else. The problem seems to be on Win2003 server boxes. The services in question are=

Computer Browser
Server
Automatic Updates
Shell Hardware Detection
Windows Audio
Wireless Config
Workstation
Secondary Logon

plus a couple of other I cant remember at the mo

Can anyone help?

Have you disabled any services on your own as part of a security hardening for your servers (manually or through group policy)? A lot of services have dependencies on other services, and it's quite possible some won't start because of this.

Also, I installed hotfix 921883 on those servers at the same time.

I agree with sniper... I had the same problem and the patch in MS06-040 works great...

Consider installing SP2 of W2K3.
