hello!:

I have a problem with services.exe, every time that i want to start a program in my pc it always uses 100% in my cpu, i don't know why, i have norton 2005 installed in my pc and i've already scanned and no virus was found, i also should mention that before i installed norton i was using kaspersky antivirus (better than norton) and detected lots of viruses mostly trojans and backdoors, but i had to switch back to noton beacuse i couldn't conect to the internet because of kaspersky, and now that i have norton and i want to conect to the internet, services.exe starts using 100% of my cpu and in the end i can't conect.... so i think that maybe it's corrupted because of a virus that kaspersky deleted..... is there a way to fix services.exe?

Thanks in advance and sorry for my bad english.....

There is a lot of malware that is not a virus.

For the internet connection problem, one guess would be a corruption in your Winsock service: faq779-4625

Thanks bcastner!

You saved me 50 bucks, i downloaded WinsockFix and problem solved, i also downloaded Spy Bot S&D and now my pc is malware and adware free! [thumbsup2]
