Is it ok to install Windows 2000 SP3 on Windows 2000 Server (Standard)?

Anyone had any problems with installing it on W2K Server?

Do you need to shut down any services before installing it?

We have about a dozen W2K Servers running SP3 with no problems so far (several months). No problems with the install either. There are still MS Security fixes to apply after the SP3 install. The HFNETCHK utility works great for checking that stuff out. We've installed it with SQL and CPQ services running without issues. Good luck!

We have 25 servers running with SP3.
Only 1 problem ; PDF-printing through Citrix didn't work any more. Everything else works just fine !
