Hi all,
A and B are two people OUTSIDE my Definity.
A has a barrier code to use Definity's remote extension.
So, A accesses Definity's remote extension and calls B.
I want to observe this call.
My remote extension is 6600 with COR 96
(when I type the command "list extension 6600" I see
that 6600 is remote extension and its COR is 96).

I tried *67 6600 to observe the call, but it doesn't work.

I also tried to check the COR 96 properties, but it says
"no such COR"

What can I do ? Are there another way to observe that call ?

Thanks again,

sozmena

It just won't work. you cannot service observe the remote-access extension.

I don't know if this works but you can try it.

Make A and B a VDN with the COR to be service observed.

So if they call each other they need to call a VDN.

Use a vector to route the call to the number you desire.

Dial in on the remote-access extension and service observe the VDN.

Hi Brandaris,
Thanks for your answer.
I cancelled the remote access extension call.
I made a VDN with a "service observed = y" COR.
There are announcements and at the and there is
a "route-to number".
When I try to service observe the VDN, I hear all
the announcements, music-on-hold etc ..., but when the
call is routed service observe ends and I can not observe
the call.
Is there any solution abou this ?

Thanks a lot ...

When both the parties are outside the Definity, You'll have to use "Verify" to listen to the calls. SO will not work in this condition.

Hi Again,

I afraid I Service Observing doesn't work then.

Sorry,no more options except perhaps a call logger.

Hi Definity,
How do I use "verify" ?
Is it possible to observe the call if I use verify ?
