Hello,

I was wondering if anyone could possibly assist.

Does anyone have any experience using the ACCPAC.advantage api to do a custom integration with the Service manager addon from technisoft?

Currently, when I'm trying to record a macro to create a new document header, the macro can't really be used. Trying to rerun the same macro throws the 'XYZ must be composed' error.
I feel as if not all the views are being called/initialized. And subsequently, composed.

Any assistance would be appreciated. Thanks!

Hmm, okay - I'll check, any thoughts on why the macro wouldn't be recording the views that are being used ?

Not all UIs record macros, Bank Services doesn't, either. Look for "Set Job to Complete.Avb", it comes with Service Manager, it has the compositions you'll need.

Fortunately, they don't do complex compositions. Unfortunately, it is a complicated data structure and easy to corrupt until you've got the hang of it. Do reach out to their tech support as they have an Excel job import tool that you could use to get you a good chunk of the way.
