I have an odd issue. The XP workstation in the domain have a software package installed that puts its own service in place.
In order to get the service to function properly we need to specify a user account in the properties of the service.
We do this and everything works fine until we reboot. Upon reboot the service fails to start so we go into the properties and enter in the same password again and it starts fine and works until once again it reboot.
I have tried to remove profiles and anything of the like from being the cause of the problem , but I cannot seem to get these services to start on their own. I need to type in the password after each reboot.
Any help or ideas on where to look would be appreciated.
