Not sure if I understand your question correctly, but the "DocumentRoot" directive in "http.conf" sets the "/" directory for Apache. So, if you set:<br>
<br>
DocumentRoot "/path/to/my/html/directory"<br>
<br>
then "<A HREF=" TARGET="_new"> will actually refer to "/path/to/my/html/directory".<br>
<br>

oops...<br>
sure it wasn't logical, it's just because it was considering old settings (before i made changes to httpd.conf, and before i restarted apache...)<br>
