Hi,

is someone able to make a backup via http on themselves with a ServerEdition/ApplicationServer

- http is active in 7071
- hdd is extended to 200GB
- remote server = <own-ip>; port= 8000; Remote Path = /avaya/backup

it begins wirh [Prepare Backup] -> e.g. [VM Pro 30%] -> Backup failed: Pushing backup files stage failed
the same error with https (port 5443)

with ftp it works

greets
Roland

HTTP is not enabled by default, there is an option in the web control menus to enable it. But backing up to yourself is not a backup!

Stuck in a never ending cycle of file copying.

Hi sizbut,

as you can read above HTTP Option is ENABLE

the question was:

are you able to do an backup?

I have the same problem on 11.0.4.4 - raised a case with Avaya - the only answer they had was to upgrade to the latest and then raise another case.

FTP worked for me too, but that won't back up the IP500 gateways.

Thanks

This works for me. From WebManagement via port 7071, Settings>System> check the box Enable HTTP file store for backup/restore

From WebManagement via port 7070, setup a Remote Server Using the settings below.
Server Name = <Whatever you want it to be>
Protocol = https
Remote Server Address = <it's own IP>
Port = 5443
Remote Path = /avaya/backup
Username and Password fields are blank.

You can move the various backup files from the Server to your PC/Laptop using WinSCP.

Hope this helps.

Should be solved with 11.0.4.4
