ServeRAID II Memory Chips

I have salvaged a ServeRAID II and a disk array from a company's moving purge; however, the ServeRAID II has no on-board memory on-board. At boot, the system freezes while the RAID card is initializing. I grabbed some old 72-pin ram and popped on the card, and the system boots. However, I get a "memory mismatch" error once the card has passed init. My guess is that I need a specific type of ram; would anybody know what I might need to get this card working?
