server tools???

I have 2 win2000 advanced servers 1 NT4 server and 20 win98 users.I am new to this. What would be some good diagnostic type tools and monitoring tools to have installed on my main server.We run a lot of sql 7.0 stuff, thanks for any suggestion

There are many System Mangement tools. A good tool we use to monitor our general server status is

servers alive. It is a bit basic but is easy to setup.

This is a good one to start with but eventually you may want to look at some SNMP monitoring and there are some good free tools but they take a bit more configuration.
