HI... Its been a while since I last ask for help from you guys...

Right now I'm in a research for a program / software that will help us monitor our servers which is in a cross platform, NT, linux, sun solaris and windows 2000.

We need to monitor the system's health and services.

Thanx in advance for your help guys...

We use Compuware servervantage 8.5 and it covers all the bases. It has monitoring agents for most OS's. The only problem is that 8.5 is still a bit new and occassionally buggy.
Also look at BMC Patrol.

As with all these things it depends how much money you want to spend.
Good Luck.

Will.

we are trying to have the cheapest yet useful tool for our infrastructure...

we need a tool that will monitor our cross-platform servers in an html based tool that will help us monitor the servers...

Look at GFI's LAN SELM (
VERY affordable and has a 30 day trial.

More of a security/intrusion, but it also will monitor server health with an agent. Uses Win event logs. NO resident programs (except health agent) on the monitored server.
